
Nice breakwaters lining the coast, forming a nice pattern of concentric semi-circles...picture perfect, especially from such a high angle.

Look at how high the cliff face is! Magnificent!

Look at the lighthouse far into the background...This is a famous tourist attraction called the Rubjerg Knude. The lighthouse, which on top the Lonstrup cliff, had to be closed down in 1968 because of shifting sand and coastal erosion. Today, more than half the lighthouse is buried under sand and this sand dune is rather unstable and is still continually shifting. I wanted to walk there, thinking that I would reach it. But after 1 hour of walking, the distance still look too far to reach. In the end, I had to turn back because it was dark. Bought a postcard instead....heh.
