Trip to Brugge 15.10.06 - 16.10.06

And so we shall start from the very beginning and work our way through the many travels that have happened over the past few weeks.

Brugge
Jas and I visited Brugge over the short weekend that I was there to visit him. Bruges is a small but incredibly beautiful medieval town in Belgium. When I say beautiful, it really is beautiful. And the ambience makes one feel rather romantic as well. I must say that it is one of the best places the both of us ever visited.

Brugges during the day. The weather was really wonderful and it was not tourist infested, so it was a good day out. Brugge is known as the "Little Venice of the North", but it is an understatement to compare this beautiful town with Venice. It is 10 times better than Venice!!
And Brugge at night!!! At night the whole city is beautifully lighted up and walking around the city at night is as enjoyable as during the day. The romantic feeling escalates during the night because it feels like one is in a fairytale land.
Artistic shot of me with the nice green walls in the background.
I love creepy-crawlies like these, especially in the Autumn when they start turning all sorts of colours, decorating the exterior of the house like never before.
Did you meet our new friend? He's called Big Eyes...can't remember how to spell the Dutch version of his name. Was captivated by him when I first saw him at the shop! And he was not that expensive so we got him! Adorable little thing! :)
And I found my shop!! Too bad it was closed by that time. Think it sold men's clothes.
A beautiful weekend, in a beautiful town, with a beautiful someone in my life. :)
